Small groups like those gathered in conscious seeking are, through “the way they live their lives,” tuning themselves to the presence and guidance of advanced civilizations. This readiness enables them to receive “some sort of contact from advanced civilizations” that can deepen their spiritual understanding and inspire others to awaken as well.

The Role of Spiritual Communities in Seeding Awareness

While humanity may not yet be unified in conscious awareness, the active spiritual communities across the planet are helping bridge this gap. According to Q'uo, “There are various civilizations and entities that are the senders of these messages of love, of light, and the unity of all things.” These messages, received by spiritually attuned groups, act as seeds of awakening. These seeds can be “sown to those they meet in their daily round of activities, so that this message from advanced civilizations may spread in a general fashion that is more and more pronounced as time goes on.”

In other words, these spiritually aware groups serve as “Johnny Appleseeds of spiritual realization,” planting insights and inspirations in those they encounter. By sharing what they have received—be it messages of unity, light, or love—they encourage others to begin their own journey of discovery.

Contact Beyond the Conscious Mind

Interestingly, Q'uo suggested that communication from higher beings may occur beyond the conscious mind’s reach. For those who sense an unfulfilled purpose or feel an intuitive pull towards something greater, Q'uo explained that these insights may come through subtler means, such as “the dream state, or the meditative state, or the intuitional flashes of inspiring concepts, feelings, and the nature of one’s being.” This subconscious mode of connection allows seekers to receive and interpret spiritual messages that may later bloom into conscious awareness.

Earth's Transition and the Call to Unity

Q'uo concluded with a reflection on Earth itself, which, they explained, has “already [moved] within the fourth density of love and understanding” and thus gently calls her inhabitants to join her. Earth's energy shift provides what Q'uo describes as “support … given by the very ground upon which you walk,” helping sensitive individuals subconsciously realize their greater spiritual journey.

Had a dream that Xi Jinping joined my peak oil chat podcast. He didn't have a translator though so there was somewhat of a language barrier. At some point he said he knew a little Russian, but I couldn't understand the specific words personally, though on some level we were communicating anyways. At some point he told story of someone that moved from rural area to the city, and I remarked how nowadays it would be good to tell the opposite story, of how urbanite moved to the country. At another point of the dream we were reviewing the operation of a large kettle canon, and he was motioning how it worked, and we were saying how it gets loaded with metal shot, and he was saying we don't want a bunch of metal shot spewed through the desert countryside. And so I was saying how could use seed balls, with something that operates more like an automatic slingshot, and the re-vegetate a desert countryside. Overall it was a good interaction, even if language barrier was an issue at times.

Q’uo encourages, "Become conscious and aware of your thoughts… carefully cultivating those that are nourishing." By becoming mindful of the thoughts we entertain—whether they are thoughts of fear or love, separation or unity—we can choose to create a world that reflects the highest good, rather than perpetuating cycles of violence and separation.

Cultivating Thought Like a Garden:

The parable also reflects Q’uo’s advice to treat thoughts like seeds in a garden. We must learn, as Q’uo says, to “nurture, support, and encourage that which is nourishing to the self and the community,” and to “carefully and respectfully guard against or even remove that which is not nourishing.” This doesn’t mean forcefully repressing negative thoughts but becoming aware of them and gently releasing them before they take root and spread, as Isara does in her garden.

Canadian politics is a very fascinating topic, full of intrigue, deception and enriching the already wealthy at the expense of the majority. Though as Canadians, we really do seem to show our politicians nearly boundless grace, to technically continuously rob us, because at least they do it with a smile on their face and pretend they are trying to help.

One of the most obvious and long term policies characteristic of western European style governments, is they always promote inflation (because it helps the rich), and fight against deflation (because it helps the poor). It used to be that everyone in the globe bought into this form of oppression of the majority, but recently Xi the "Chinese dictator" allowed food prices to go down (deflate), shockingly (to western economists) in China they like low prices for things. The recent "pandemic response" in western governments however was one of the largest wealth transfers from the poor to the rich in recent history, with food prices rising 23% from 2020 to 2023, as governments fought against "deflation"/lower-prices to begin with by "quantitative easing"/(ludicrous spending sprees), and then were "shocked"(malevolently amused) at the rebound inflation.

Now we know that honourable Chrystia is in charge of our economy for most if not all of Justin's term, and at least she was always very open about her economic policy as summarized in her 2012 book title "Plutocrats: The Rise of the New Global Super Rich and the Fall of Everyone Else". So if you poke at any of her economic policies you will find that in pretty much every single one of her initiatives are designed to benefit the wealthy first, and generally at most maintain status quo for the poor, though more typically make things worse for them. Her 60 billion+ dollar housing bubble for example of "rent transfer payments" all of that money went into wealthy landlord pockets, and increased rent prices for everyone, while admittedly forcing the few families "directly benefiting" from the program into dependence on federal aid to afford even a concrete cage in the sky.

More recently Chrystia had the bright idea of increasing housing prices and how much money our banks are getting via 30 year mortgages. It is really shocking that anyone that has even the most basic understanding of supply and demand could think this could be a good idea. Increasing the number of people able to buy only increases demand, and thus only drives up prices, only increasing supply can lower prices. While the solution of increasing supply through straightforward measures like recognizing human right to land as a subset of security of person, promoting land protection acts like the one already in place in PEI, and opening up crown for sale at affordable prices, seem like obvious solutions, they wouldn't benefit the already wealthy so are ignored.

As an aside, there have been a few initiatives that have helped the poor, but I speculate they must have come either from Justin or the NDP, such as increasing child benefit payments, and other such grants (CWB) for poor people. And it seems that the "Carbon Rebate" was intended to be something akin to a basic income pilot. Probably the way it was justified to help the plutocrats was via the "Green Slush Fund" that would funnel the proceeds to them, which is why it was allowed to go ahead.

While Chrystia is a trustee on the WEF board, which is a group of international plutocrats of various faith denominations, most of the harm they cause is through deluding themselves that making themselves richer helps the poor.

Worryingly it seems Pierre has decided to ally himself with another group of international plutocrats, which as by the guidelines of their religion view 99.5% of humans on Earth as "subhuman animals". Whether that means Canada will turn into a slaughterhouse like Ukraine remains to be seen, but at least Pierre doesn't identify as a member of their religion, so hopefully not. As an alternative to aligning with plutocrats for economic policy, Pierre could consider distributism.

Pierre, Distributism is a common-sense approach to the economy that puts families and small businesses first. Instead of wealth being concentrated in big corporations or government, it advocates for widespread property ownership. It's about giving more Canadians the chance to own their homes and businesses—building an economy of owners, not renters. That’s real economic freedom.

While Justin's term isn't over yet, hopefully he will manage to avoid committing as much damage as his namesake Emperor Justinian, who used censorship to begin the dark ages of Europe. Emperor Justinian lived from 482-565, and back then instead calling it "misinformation/disinformation" they called it "paganism". In Justinian Code Law 1.11.10.2. “we forbid the teaching of any doctrine by those who labour under the insanity of paganism”.

Now as if that wasn't enough, Justinian also changed the language of the bible from Greek (which people could read) to Latin (which they couldn't), and made all Greek editions illegal. And anything that wasn't the bible was "paganism"/"misinformation"/"disinformation" so literacy went out the window. Europe only recovered because they were illiterate for so long that they forgot the Justinian Code.

Now we've already seen a lack of a moral compass from the current government, and hopefully we will have a peaceful election, but in case they try to take desperate measures to avoid the next election, it's worth remembering that the Judiciary is a separate branch, and the RCMP is sworn to follow any lawful orders, which are aligned with the constitution and the judiciary.

While the governor general is selected by the prime minister and generally does their bidding, However, in a constitutional crisis, such as if a government were attempting to seize power unlawfully or refuse to hold elections, the Governor General could exercise their discretionary power to dissolve Parliament without the Prime Minister’s request. This would be an extraordinary action taken to protect democratic governance, as the Governor General is entrusted to act as a constitutional guardian. Such powers have rarely been invoked, but historical precedents like the King-Byng Affair (1926) show that a Governor General can refuse to follow a Prime Minister's request if it is seen as unconstitutional or harmful to the democratic process​. Something so exceptional would likely need the support of both the judiciary and RCMP for the Governor General to feel comfortable doing it.

In any case, hopefully nothing untoward will happen, and we'll have either elections as scheduled, or perhaps a bit earlier. Really if pensions are the issue, perhaps can simply give them a bill to give them their pensions, and have early elections.

Congratulations to Senior Planner Scott Taylor with his promotion to a Provincial Advisory position. Briefly wanted to mention that to boost water provision, given our shallow soils and karst, we can promote rain catchment and cistern systems, which are often even more economical than wells, and are adaptable to most places in Ontario. By being leaders of rain catchment water cisterns with filtration, could become leaders of innovation and become key suppliers for the possible opening of Ontario's lands, as land prices continue to be a problem for Canadians, even if land prices improve significantly such as due to a Provincial Land Protection Act, that makes land affordable. With Eugenia hydropower we will be key industrial suppliers in Grey County.

Also met with international advisors Simon Michaux and Steve St. Angelo this week (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDwbygJMEyw ), one of the most compelling takeaways was this years report from Exxon Mobil (second largest oil company in the world). In particular this part of their executive summary:

With only having discovered 10% of the new oil as we need last year, we could start seeing declines within the next few years.

So if we do experience for example even a single year of such 15% oil decrease and a 400% increase in price of oil. That would mean:

Five fold increase in price of daily commute (from $4.80 to $24)
Grocery item prices may increase 10-50%
Consumer goods 5-30%
Could increase demand on natural gas, increasing gas prices 50%
Electricity prices would increase 20%
Unemployment and homelessness would increase

Now notably, that would be just for one year, with every subsequent year having similar increases until we transition off fossil fuels. We have not experienced an oil supply decline since 1970's oil embargo, not sure how many Councillors remember that one, so it's not very comparable. However out of comparables we did experience an oil demand decline in the COVID era that led to demand destruction induced supply decline, By March 2022, food prices had increased by about 33% compared to March 2020. So we could experience similar price increase "shocks" but year after year.

From far away where I was sitting, it seemed that the Homeless part was like a tiny home, on a rural estate with sufficient space to grow their own food and firewood, in which case I was thinking that is an ideal setting.

What an interesting time to be alive! On the bright side, more people may become interested in growing their own food, and we may have a smoother transition to post-fossil fuels, with significantly less mortality. Since if declines begin soon, and people behave rationally, then we have at least 16 years+ before we effectively run out of meaningful fossil fuel reserves. In Canada for example we have 16 years of natural gas reserves if we use it for domestic consumption only at current rates.

However also of note is that WEF wants people to stop growing their own food in urban areas, because they say it produces more carbon foot print than growing food in rural areas, on the basis of one study, without considering any consequences. However if we consider consequences, we would have to realize that we want people to grow their own food even in urban areas, because every calorie counts, and there is a 5 year learning curve to growing your own food, with the goal being they can apply their knowledge as soon as they are able to own a piece of land big enough for them to feed and house themselves.

There are of course many variables at play, but the main thing is to stay light hearted and with gratitude, having faith that all is well and that all will be well.

So been noticing how annual heat related deaths are getting up to half a million, so did some projections. Best realistic scenario is we'll be at over 2 million annual heat deaths by 2050. Grey County Update: English Status Seekers

It is interesting how our democracy works, that ethnicity of councillors often reflect that of the electorate. After having done some ethnic analysis based on last names, it seems that Grey County Council is fairly unique in that we have a Scottish plurality, though also many English come in second, as well as two Germanic, two Eastern European, one Irish and one Italian.

Pertinent to the county finances is the book "Millionaire Next Door" by Thomas Stanley, that does an analysis on the proclivity of people of various ethnic origins of becoming millionaires. It found that Germans actually have a disadvantage in comparison to the average, seemingly because they have a focus on cleanliness and appearances, though as Jesus says "The meek shall inherit the Earth". At least here in Grey County the Germanic people own a significant amount of the land and so it's good to have Germanic representatives to speak to their issues, and the Amish and Mennonites are actually some of the best prepared for the end of fossil fuels. Wheras the English were two or three times more likely than average Americans to become millionaires due to colonial heritage, the Scottish 6 times more likely due to frugality, and Eastern Europeans 7 times more likely due to entrepreneurship.

Now perhaps the most problematic culture I have read about is actually the English, as described in "Watching the English" by Kate Fox. Now this isn't to say that our English heritage councillors or members are afflicted by the same ailments as described in the book. However much of the counter-productive habits of Englishism have unfortunately been perpetuated in North American culture in general, so it is good to be aware of them, to avoid the pitfalls.

The most significant issue with English culture, is that they have a tendency to dislike their own family or especially their children, preferring instead to chase after status objects to impress strangers and for their personal glorification. In the political realm this has both financial and social repercussions. The financial issues being the pursuit of vanity projects "for appearances" and to impress strangers, often to the detriment of the actual locals living in the area. A prime example would be the current UK administration, which has two tier policing that allows undocumented immigrants to get away with violent crimes against the natives, while putting the natives in prison for complaining about it. Or closer to home, where Trudeau seems to value the opinion of the WEF and emulating the CCP more highly than Canadian Citizens our heritage and the basics of how we came to succeed in the first place. Fortunately Premier Doug Ford eventually decided to go with what the citizens wanted instead of the real estate investors in terms of the green belt, so there is hope.

Now if you have identified that you have room for improvement in regards to how loving and kind you are towards your family and children, then now is as good a time to start as any. Remember that by learning to love and accept them, make time for them, listen to them, and help them in the ways that you can, you are modelling how you behave towards your constituents. Are you respecting the free will and divine spark within your children, or are you letting outsiders or social mores dictate how they will live their lives? While there is room for seeking outside help when we need it, ultimately the decision of how our children/constituents live, needs to take into account their own free will and the divine within them. We can set up our children for success by giving them the tools and space (land) to learn to accomplishing things for themselves, that is what builds self-confidence.

With the rise of fossil fuels England created the Enclosure Acts, to take land away from regular people, and give it to wealthy industrialists to raise sheep, so they could spin the wool in factories. It was the start of "1984" Ministry of Information double think, in that they told peasants the people that with land to grow their own food and firewood they were "serfs" or slaves, and that to become free, they had to go to the city and become a "free tenant" or wage slaves, dependent on "the machine" to meet all one's needs (notably many were not fooled, but were forced off their land by legislative/zoning means). Certainly it has brought about some mass manufacturing luxuries, however we are speeding towards "net zero" by running out of fossil fuels. So the challenge is reversing the Enclosure Acts, as best as we are able, at every level of governance, so that our children may be able to put food on the table for their grandchildren (or great-grand children as the case may be).

India, China and Russia are ironically leading the way, in India 70% of people have access to agricultural land to grow their own stuff, in China 55%, in Russia it's 45%, in Canada it's 3%, in US 2%, in UK 1%. With such large percentages of the population ready and able to grow their own: India, China and Russia should fair quite well in the case of loss of fossil fuels, easily maintaining at least half their populations. Canada and US on the other hand, at present is on pace for 90%+ mortality rates within decades. But the Ministry of Information has people in a mindset of "hubris" or the "pride that comes before the fall", believing that "the machine" will always deliver.

Recently read "Mass Starvation" by Alex de Waal and it states "second-degree famine crime is committed by an official recklessly pursuing policies that have already proven their faminogenic tendencies. These constitute the largest number of famine crimes by far." Most likely historians of the future, will look at the west in this way, because we know homelessness is rising, we know food security is dropping, we know fossil fuels are finite and are being phased out, but many governments in Canada at all levels continue to pursue policies to intentionally increase land prices and limiting supply and access. Even when much of the rest of the world is in a much better position than us, with much less land disparity, and much higher survival chances.

There are many possible solutions, too many to enumerate here, but a small sampling may include the municipal and county level. Things like at the urban municipal level supporting urban agriculture program for people to start acquiring the skills to grow their own food in their yards, as it is a five year learning curve. At the county level could provide an Agroforestry program at Sydenham campus, or through Georgian college to assist local farmers in integrating edible and useful trees and shrubs into their farming system, and drawing on international permaculture expertise. And at the rural municipal/county level could have community land trusts with agricultural land available for residence, and-or having land matching services to match urban residents with rural land owners that are willing to lease some land, and-or zoning reform to make it easier for people to camp out while they farm a sustainable size lot.

And maybe the staff have some questions about some aspects of how we can help the transition here? I'm always looking for ways to be of service and I'd be willing to offer potential solutions, that the staff and council may decide to implement. Unfortunately there are a variety of policies in place that are designed to keep housing prices high, and to prevent disbursing crown land to citizens in a way that can make land affordable for younger generations who have highest chances of survival if given the chance. The proposed measures sorted in easiest to implement to most difficult to implement include introducing Interest-Free Mortgages, modifying Foreclosure Sale Regulations, implementing Land Bank Utilization Time Limits, legislating Human Rights to Land for Subsistence, capping Land Ownership, and revising Crown Land Sales policies.

Of course these issues are not limited to Ontario, Quebec government is hoarding 90% of the land away from their people, and BC 95%. It is inevitable that if compassionate measures are not undertaken, and the oil reserves fail, that people will naturally migrate out of the cities due to lack of food (either by moving or dying). In any case Ontario has some of the most lenient crown land laws, such that some nomadic people may survive there, however if we wish to have Canada with government and judiciary to survive into the post-fossil fuel era, it is wise to start transitioning sooner rather than later. Ontario can be a leader, as unlike in Quebec or BC there are no mountains in the way of disbursing crown lands, only policies that prevent them from being affordable.
